Welding Head Structure

  • Nozzles : Customers can replace the corresponding nozzles (inner corner copper nozzles, male corner copper nozzles,wire feeding copper nozzle) according to different welding processes
  • Scale tube : the adjusting rod cab be twitched back and forth to adjust the focal length , and the adjustable distance is ±10mm.
  • Wire feeding bracket : used to fix the wire feeding rod. When welding without wire feeding, the wire feeding rod can be removed fron he bracket
  • Status indication : green means normal ; red flashing means laser alarm or air pressure is too low red light standing on means the protective mirror or motor driver temperature is too high. When a red light appears, stop the light in time and check the corresponding parts.
  • Protective glass : When the protective lens is dirty, loosen the two screws, pull out the lens holder, and replace the lens. lt is recommended to wipe te dust on the protective lens with a cleam cloth dopped in alcohol once a day
  • Focusing lens : focus the laser beam into a very high energy density, and then emit it to the surface of the material for welding.
  • Reflctor/ motor : Drive the lens to swing at high speed, shape the laser shape and energy distribution, and mack the welding spot change from a point shape to a line shape

System touch screen : used to set the laser power, frequency, duty cycty , welding seam width and swing speed of the opening or closing delay of the protective gas, etc.

E-STOP : Press the "E-STOP" switch, Laser and control system power off; after loosening the emergency stop, rotate the "Key" switch to power on the whole machine

KEY : After loosening the emergency stop,rotate the "KEY" switch clockwise, the laser and the control system are powered on , the screen is on, and the status indicator lights will turn green

STATUS : When the power supply of the whole machine is ready, the indicator light will show green

LOOP : Connect to a secure lock clip, hold the welding product of the clip, When the welding gun touches the productm the lock and welded torch are connected before the laser welding machine can be used.

RS232 : To connect the laser software, you need to install the transit wire driver in advance. FEEDER : Two core aviation plug, output short circuit, control the operation of the wire feeding machine

GAS IN : The welding gas inlet, the argon enters the welding gun, and protects the welding during the welding process to prevent oxidation

EXT-CRTL : The four-core aviation plug can control the light of the welding machine through the EXT-CRTL interface. The security locks and trigger singals are short circuit. When the supporting robot or automated equipment is welded, it can achieve light welding through this interface signal. The button function is consistent

CTRL : Laser single control interface, connect to welding control card, control the power of the laser;

DC IN : Laser power supply, connect to switching power, 48VDC power input (driver) and 24VDC input (Control)

Other accessories

In order to protect the weld from oxidation and make the weld well protected, the shielding gas used should have chemical properties that do not cause harmful chemical reactions with the weld body. The quality of the shielding gas must meet the ISO 8573-1:2010, Class 2.4.3 standard, and there must be no impurity particles, water, or oil. The higher the purity of the protetive gas, the longer the life of the protective lens.

Requirements for the use of auxiliary gas;

1.It is recommended to use argon or helium with a qurity of ≥99.99%

2.When using this equipment for welding, an "argon gas flow meter" should be added to the gas source, and the flow rate of the shielding gas must be greater than 10L/min (adjust the flow rate according to the actual welding effect.) If the shielding gas flow is too small, it is easy to cause the damage of protective lens and even the laser. If the shielding gas flow is too large, it may cause the welding seam to sag or splash too much, resulting in poor welding; when using this equipment for cuttinf , a "nitrogen pressur reducing valve" should be added to the gas source, and the air pressure is required to be 0.6~1.2Mpa (according to the thickness and cutting speed to make a fine-tuned of air pressure), too small or too large air pressure may damage the welding head, and even the laser.
